Tea for Two
There is nothing more girly than a tea party. All of the romantic linens, lace, and pastels can make you feel somewhat whimsical. I had made reservations for my mother and I at Mrs. B's Tea Parlor (a local tea house in downtown Littleton, CO). The lunch included two pots of tea (our choice), scones with jam and cream, and a three tiered plate of small tea sandwiches and sweets! It was all wonderful, but I could not stop thinking about putting on my very own tea party! Here are some great ideas...
White or pastel linens are a great choice to cover any table.
Keep a centerpiece in mind. DIY tea cup candles would feel very romantic.

Use mismatched vintage tea dishes, and antique silverware.

Organization!
Today, my main focus is organization. I have been putting off organizing the closet in my kitchen for quite some time. It is truly the "catch all" closet. To start the day, I'm going to head to Goodwill and unload a few things. I love to thrift, so of course I will have to stop in and scope out any treasures! Who knows, maybe I can find a couple of cute baskets or organizers to put in the closet! I found some inspiring photos of great organized cupboards and closets. Here are a few...

Beach Chic
There is something so soothing about the ocean. The calming blue water, and the feeling of sand beneath your feet. Like the ocean, your home should put your mind at ease. To create a beach chic room, there are a few key items you will need to bring it all together.
